Adastra Superyacht – the long range Trimaran

Shuttleworth Design has unveiled the award-winning Adastra Superyacht, which will surely catch the eye of many people out there. The trimaran combines high efficiency fuel with exquisite interior design that you could easily mistake for a luxurious hotel suite. The Adastra superyacht is 42.5 meters long and can cover 4000 miles at 20 mph (17 knots) on one full.

The Adastra trimaran aims to increase efficiency and reduce wind and water resistance, so that the yacht can sail smoothly across rough waves. The trimaran shape consists of two small outrigger hulls next to the main hull, so that the Adastra can be more efficient and stable than other superyachts out there. The trimaran design also has the added benefit of being lighter than the standard single hull designs, so the Adastra won’t capsize as easily as other superyachts. One drawback of the trimaran design is that it impacts maneuverability, mostly being used on smaller boats, ferries and military craft.

While the Adastra puts security and smooth sailing first, the interior design of the ship is admirable, to say the least. If you’re not a multimillionaire, you won’t get your hands on this luxury ship, that’s for sure. While superyachts like the Adastra tend to radiate superficiality, you can’t ignore the work that has been put into them. The Adastra is one of the greatest yachst I’ve seen, with a luxurious interior. If you can afford the Adastra, you will be greeted with a 16 meter beam hosting the saloon with a lounge, dining table and a navigation station. In the foredeck, you will find a sunbed, a sofa, a bar area and another dining area you can use to your convenience. You also get an enclosed garage and a lot of extra space for storage.

The Adastra master cabin is the highlight of the superyacht, stretching the full width of the craft. The Adastra has accommodation for guests, too, with two guest cabins and a few crew cabins. You can cram in 9 guests as well as 6 crew members on the Adastra, so you won’t get lonely – unless you want to. The Adastra superyacht was launched in China and if you think you can spare the cash, you can buy it for $15 million. I will have to rephrase my previous supposition and say that unless you are a billionaire, you probably won’t even think about spending that much money on a yacht. With $15 million, you can do much more for yourself and others, to be fair. In any case, props to Shuttleworth Design and the Adastra for becoming one of the most luxurious superyachst of the world.
