Top 5 highly anticipated movies of 2015

2015 will be packed. Not just packed, but crowded with awesome sequels, new projects and amazing reboots. But if you were asked what your highly anticipated movie of 2015 was, would you instantly answer? Or maybe you have lots of movies competing for your no. 1? Nevertheless, there’s no doubt that a good movie is not made by its budget but by its execution. Here are 5 movies that we anticipate not because we have to but because we love to.

5. Spectre

Daniel Craig is returning as James Bond in the next installment called Spectre. Sam Mendes will once again take the mantle of director considering how magnificent Skyfall was. Aside from the original talented roster, we have some new additions such as Christoph Waltz, Monica Bellucci and Léa Seydoux, Expect lots of action set pieces but seeing how the movie is entitled Spectre (the criminal organization our hero will have to face) a certain Stavro Blofeld will surely appear. And he’s quite cunning.

4.Ant-man

Oh, how bumpy of a road did Ant-man have. First, the original helmer Edgar Wright dropped the project due to conflicting interests and since then, the movie had been in desperate need of a new director. Peyton Reed came just in time to oversee the completion of Ant-Man and now, the long awaited highly hyped superhero flick may indeed see the light of day in 2015. Let’s just hope that it doesn’t disappoint.

3.Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2

The first part of Mockingjay which premiered in 2014 blasted its way onto the top of the box office for several weeks in a row. So it’s no surprise that the second part of this installment is happening so fast, in 2015. The revolution continues next year with more action, more depth and more Jennifer Lawrence.

2.Avengers: Age of Ultron

2015 will continue with more superhero movies but no other film in this genre is more awaited than Joss Whedon’s Avengers: Age of Ultron. The new villain is shockingly menacing and who doesn’t want to see another round of awesomeness from the Avengers? Plus we’ll get to see Iron Man go head to head with The Hulk. Enough said.

1.Star Wars: The Force Awakens

Without a shadow of a doubt, the seventh episode of the much beloved saga Star Wars is for many the sole reason they will visit the cinemas in 2015. You’ve got the old crew from the original trilogy back, a stellar new cast and J.J Abrams as the director. If anyone can breathe new life into an already successful franchise, it’s surely this guy. Expect to see lots of jedi vs sith action and the new lightsaber model is a sight to behold.
