OnePlus opening a store in China next month

OnePlus, the maker of the OnePlus One flagship killer, is reportedly opening a physical store in China. After the announcement earlier this Fall that OnePlus would be inaugurating an HQ in India, it seems the company has finally decided to open an actual store and start commercializing their pretty acclaimed flagship killer and accessories. OnePlus announced that its first store would be opened in Beijing, dubbed the “Experience” store.

The Experience store has already opened its doors to Blue Harbor, Beijing customers, showing off the OnePlus One and various accessories Chinese customers can now buy directly from there. While OnePlus has had a rough year with many criticism hitting the invite system the company used to sell the exclusive One flagship killer, it seems they have finally to expand far enough in revenues and resources in order to open a store. Even though the company has organized two pre-order sessions for the OnePlus One, the sales didn’t go as well as expected and customer demand has not been met as the company planned.

While people are still waiting for their pre-ordered OnePlus One, the invite system is still up and running. For those in India, there is already a partnership between OnePlus and Amazon India so you can buy the flagship from the online store directly. The Indian sales of the phone have been organized in such a way that the invite system is no longer available for Indian customers, so we think that will be the outcome of the new OnePlus Store opening in China.
