Samsung Galaxy S6 expected at CES 2015

Samsung will announce and launch new models in the Galaxy S line smartphone in the spring, but the latest rumors say that we are closer to a disclosure than we expected. It seems that Samsung Galaxy S6 launch will probably try to limit the financial damage to the small number of units sold compared to the previous generation S5.

Mirae Asset Securities, a company specializing in consultancy in South Korea, says that Samsung may unveil new Galaxy S6 in the first weeks of January at CES2015. Coincidentally, during that period, between days 6 and 9, occurs Consumer Electronics Show 2015 in Las Vegas. Although Samsung usually prefer to make announcements at Mobile World Congress or to organize their own events Unpacked, CES is a good opportunity to earn extra attention.

The latest rumors suggest that the Galaxy S6 will receive a curved screen version of the new Edge series also Note 4, which will most likely come in limited quantity. Mirae Asset Securities Analysts estimate that Samsung expects sales of 45 million units to 10 million units S6 variant of the Edge. Since Samsung has not yet confirmed this information, they currently fall into the category of speculation.

Technical specifications currently available for Samsung Galaxy S6 suggests octa-core processor Exynos 7420, a display of 5.5 “QHD resolution (2560 x 1440 pixels), 3 GB RAM and 32 GB of storage. The cameras will also receive upgrades, is rumored 20 megapixel sensor on the back and a 5 megapixel camera on the front.

Given that there are only a few weeks to CES 2015 we certainly do not wait too long until these rumors are confirmed or refuted. Now that the most important mobile market in 2014 reached starts the avalanche of rumors and speculation about the devices next year. Inevitably, Samsung will announce a new model in the Galaxy S line and the new information that suggests a total reinvention flagship company sites. Although not the first time we hear about Galaxy S6, this time the rumors say something different.

The new Samsung Galaxy S6 will have a housing constructed entirely of aluminum. This means that not only around the display frame is made of metal, like Galaxy Alpha and Note 4. A similar design has been implemented by Samsung in series Galaxy A mid-range devices, so the manufacturing process is not just be something new for the company. The S6 will integrate a curved display on two sides. It is not the first time we learn details about such a device and would be neither the first device of its kind. Galaxy Note Edge has already demonstrated this technology, and rumors launched to date suggest that the S6 will receive a variant Edge. However, this device may not be described S6 model, but the model S6 Edge, which will be available in a limited edition.

Although we have already seen the alleged specifications Galaxy S6 benchmarking applications, LoadTheGame argues that we get two different models of the smartphone. One Exynos chipset integrates a 7 and the second will include the Snapdragon SoC 810. This information is in tune with Samsung launches the past.

As for the release date, the sources contradict previously released information. Apparently we will not see the new Galaxy S6 at CES 2015, but rather the beginning of fiscal year 2016, which begins in April.
